There’s so much to cover from even a few days at the Disneyland resort. This helps explain why this episode of the Tomorrow Society Podcast is easily the longest in the show’s existence. My family recently spent four nights and three days in Anaheim enjoying Disney’s California parks. We visited the original Disneyland park for two days and also spent one at California Adventure. During this epic podcast, I summarize everything we enjoyed during a busy, crowded time at the parks.
This podcast includes a detailed look at all aspects of our trip, including the following:
- My first experiences on Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout and WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure.
- How Disney Genie Plus works differently at Disneyland, and some advantages of this service over Walt Disney World.
- Using Magic Band+ for the first time and whether it’s worst the investment.
- Visiting Avengers Campus for the first time and checking out Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge again.
- How Disneyland compares to Walt Disney World, including comparing similar attractions like Pirates of the Caribbean and The Haunted Mansion.
- Challenges facing the Disneyland resort, particularly the amount of attraction downtime and how it affected our visit.
This list provides just an example of the topics that I discuss on this episode, which includes advice if you’re planning a Disneyland trip. I also talk about our stay at the Hyatt House, dining recommendations, touring decisions that I’d do differently, and so much more. There’s so much to enjoy within a fairly compact resort, and we experienced a lot of it during our stay around Memorial Day. I hope that you enjoy this detailed trip report of my fun California vacation.
