It’s such a challenging time in every field, and that includes businesses connected to Walt Disney World. The shutdown during the COVID-19 pandemic has essentially stopped the flow of news from the parks. That changed last week when Disney announced their reopening plans for next month. Florida Governor Ron Desantis approved Disney’s plans, and the parks will open on July 11 and July 15. This is the perfect time to talk with Shannon Albert of WDW Prep School.
Shannon returns to The Tomorrow Society Podcast this week to talk about her work at WDW Prep School and Disney’s reopening plans. We discuss the differences we’ll likely see in the parks due to the pandemic. Shannon also talks about what’s been happening on her website and podcast WDW Prep to Go since we last spoke in August 2018. We also describes her recent foray into doing interviews on her podcast and how that has gone.
I also spoke to Shannon about recent additions to Walt Disney World like Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and Disney Springs. In the final segment, Shannon answers miscellaneous questions about her favorite resort, restaurants she enjoys, and upcoming attractions. It was great to talk with Shannon again and get her insights about the latest news. She knows the parks so well and provides valuable trip planning advice. That help will be crucial in the upcoming months with parks reopening soon.
