I’ve really enjoyed the chance to interview so many smart and interesting people on The Tomorrow Society Podcast. Whether I’m talking with former Disney Imagineers, authors, or fellow podcasters, they all have amazing stories. It’s fun to sometimes change up the format, however. Back on Episode 100, I loved taking the time to respond to your questions. I also took your suggestions for my Improving EPCOT shows, and it was so much fun.
This episode is a full Listener Q&A show; you control the topics! I placed the call for questions during the past few months, and all of you delivered. Here are some examples of subjects that I cover on this episode:
- Which planned but unbuilt World Showcase pavilion at EPCOT do I most lament never happening?
- Why has Disney taken so long to use the trackless ride technology at Walt Disney World and Disneyland?
- What attractions scared me the most when I was a kid and today?
- Will Disney ever build an attraction not based on a film property again?
- What are some things that I know today about podcasting that I wish that I knew in the early days?
- How will the theme park industry be changed by the COVID-19 pandemic even after the worst is over?
These questions are only part of what I cover on this extended show. There was so much to talk about on each topic, and I could have said even more. Some issues could warrant an entire episode, particularly the last one. I really enjoyed creating this Listener Q&A podcast, and I’d love to hear your thoughts.
