Some of the biggest recent changes to Walt Disney World have come in the dining realm. Restaurants have become nearly as important to guests as attractions, even more for some. Securing ADRs has become so important for many visitors, particularly at hard-to-find spots. It’s hardly the typical fare either, especially at spots like Tiffins and the Skipper Canteen. When you add Disney Springs to the mix, there’s so much excitement about dining options at Disney World. A key force to help us navigate this world is The Disney Food Blog, which provides detailed reviews, up-to-date news, and a lot more. It was started by Owner and Executive Editor AJ Wolfe, who is my guest on the latest episode of The Tomorrow Society Podcast.

AJ and I discuss the beginnings of her Disney fandom and what inspired her to start the The Disney Food Blog. She was definitely ahead of the curve in a changing online world back in 2009.  We cover upcoming changes to the Disney Dining Plan, AJ’s favorite spots at Disney Springs, and the tricks when visiting a Disney restaurant to write a dining review. Always ask for a four-top table, even if you’re alone. AJ also describes the challenges in covering the International Food & Wine Festival in Epcot, especially when she worked solo in the site’s early days. It isn’t always so glamorous to cover dining, even in a magical place like Disney World.
