We’re back for Part 2 of my Walt Disney World trip report, and there’s still a lot more to cover! This episode of the Tomorrow Society Podcast finishes up my park days and then looks at other aspects of our Spring Break vacation. Last time I talked about our days at EPCOT and the Magic Kingdom, so I begin this time with Disney’s Hollywood Studios. I cover everything we experienced including our first chance at being pilots on Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run plus multiple rides on several headliners.
Next up is a review of our stay at Disney’s Port Orleans – French Quarter resort. We stayed for three nights at this quiet moderate resort, and I talk about how it worked for our trip. Plus, there were beignets! I describe getting around Walt Disney World by rental car and Disney buses. It was more exciting to talk about the best food we enjoyed at the parks and beyond, including great barbecue at the Regal Eagle Smokehouse. Not all the meals were that good, particularly at the Magic Kingdom.
I conclude this trip report by talking about some favorite moments from our trip, and it was a long list. They included my first time watching Happily Ever After in person, catching Impressions de France at night, and just enjoying the parks. We lucked out in terms of Spring Break crowds and were able to navigate the parks easily thanks to milder weather. I hope that you enjoyed my Walt Disney World trip report! I tried to include a lot of tips based on what we learned during this visit. Plus, beignets!
