My appreciation for Silver Dollar City just keeps growing with each visit. I had a great time on our last trip to this wonderful regional park back in 2019. Located near Branson, Missouri, it provides thrills for coaster lovers mixed in with small-town charm. The 61-acre park keeps expanding and has more big plans on the horizon.
We recently made a return trip to Silver Dollar City for the first time in four years. On this episode of the Tomorrow Society Podcast, I give all the details about our visit during Spring Break this March. We spent a full day enjoying the coasters, water rides, vintage attractions, and a lot more. I recorded some audio clips during our trip to offer a glimpse of our day this cool and relaxing place.
Silver Dollar City has announced that Fire in the Hole will close at the end of this season. This 51-year-old dark ride is wonderfully strange and will be missed, but a replacement should be coming soon. During this trip, we caught up with Fire in the Hole, the Flooded Mine, Thunderation, and other classic rides. I also finally rode Time Traveler, which shattered my high expectations. There were so many cool moments during this visit, and I hope you enjoy my extensive trip report podcast.
