It’s hard to believe it, but we’re nearing the summer season at theme parks. Last year, I had a great time visiting Kings Island and Silver Dollar City along with Disneyland and Universal Hollywood. What’s next for 2024? On this episode of the Tomorrow Society Podcast, I dive into the parks that I hope to visit this summer and beyond.

I’m probably being too ambitious when listing all the places I’d like to check out this year. Even so, it’s fun to think about all the cool spots that I want to experience. I start with a return to Silver Dollar City to check out their new version of Fire in the Hole. I also want to make the trip to Iowa to finally visit the new Lost Island park.

My plans for a theme park summer include a stop at Universal Orlando to catch up with everything before Epic Universe opens next year. I’ve still yet to ride the VelociCoaster and Hagrid’s and need to rectify that issue. While talking about Universal, I also dive into their recent announcements. They’re opening a new DreamWorks Land and introducing so much new entertainment. I conclude the podcast with my thoughts on Disney’s slow approach and what I’d like to see change.
